Karkat still hadn't come out of his respite block, and it had been a whole entire day since Sollux's ill-advised trek out to the docks the day before. He was still smarting from that adventure, but he couldn't ignore Karkat.

There had to be something really wrong.

Plus he was getting hungry, and neither he nor Terezi could cook.

He tottered over to Karkat's door and pounded on it, then tried the knob. "KK?"

The Cancer jumped a bit. Captor didn't just dig hands into people's hair. At least not Karkat's. "Uh... Because that's how he is?"

He shrugged and dropped his hand down again to rest on Karkat's shoulder. "Ekthactly."

"Still not fair," the Cancer grumped and then gave a slight yawn. All of this shit went down so fast... He was getting a little emotionally drained.

"Life ithn't fair, we know that for sure," Sollux said wryly, giving his moirail a squeeze. "You gonna thleep for a bit? Maybe come out and have thomething to eat firtht?"

Karkat moved his head, looking towards his door. Yeah, he should probably eat before taking a nap or something. Captor was probably hungry as well. He snickered. "Only because your digestion tract yearns for my cooking."

Oh, right.

"You need to fucking fix my door, too. Don't think I forgot."

"Yeah, I guethh I'm a little hungry, ath it happenth."

Oops. "Uh... I'll fix it, thomehow."

"Fiiiiine," Karkat groaned, giving the other a little shove. "Let's get this shit done so I can sleep."
