[It's time. He has his list of names, and he knows where they live. The Family is about to get a little bigger, with him as their acting-Speaker. This really is Lucien's job, but he isn't here. He has even sewn together his own Speaker robe for himself, only without the enchantments.]

"I should hope not," He replied. "No, I mean you no harm. I simply come to make you an offer, one that could not be made over the Network." Too many prying eyes and ears. "I offer to make you one of the Family."

Underground vampires use to make similar offers. From his point of view the ridiculous and pointless politics the vampiric houses/hives/gangs/etc., engaged in amongst themselves, practically robbed individuals of both their freedom and minds. One thing to have rules, severe restrictions quite another. End result: conceited vicious sheep all baaing of whose herd and illustrious (of the moment due to constant vying for the position) leader was most glorious, and endlessly squabbling with the other woolies over any and every little thing.

Topside vampires would be agreeable to him if not for their largely toothless natures. Only a small number above had proven to be otherwise. Sadly, they were far and few in between. Current count; Himself, Kuran (who he couldn't stand) and this elder one standing before him.

Lowered the gun, but stayed on the alert. "Go on."

"I know things about you. I know that you have taken life without regret. The Night Mother would be most pleased with one such as you." Such information was not easy to come by. Lockdown's hacking and his spying were most beneficial in that regard.

"I come to offer you a chance to be part of the Dark Brotherhood, and be among fellow murderers."

Interest is peaked, especially by the mention of a 'Night Mother'. For someone who lacks a sire (turned by nontraditional means in a lab) and never truly knew a mother's genuine love (Mrs. Valentine's was only for material things and prestige, never her sons), his vampiric side stirs at the thought of someday meeting Lilith in her maternal flesh.

Good as it sounds so far, he's not yet sure about joining.

"No 'sisters'? What happens if one decides to leave the group?"

"Oh, we have sisters. Some of our most formidable members are Dark Sisters." However, no women have caught his eye as of yet. Such a shame.

"There is no leaving," His voice grows stern. "Once you join, you are one of us for life." The Night Mother herself cannot officiate it here, but he'll do it as much as is in his power.

Narrows his eyes at the second half. "No disrespect intended, but this isn't your homeworld. How would this 'rule' be enforced?"

"I have my ways," His power is limited here, and the Wrath isn't in this world, but he'll manage.

"Now then," His tone becomes businesslike. "In order to become one of us, you must murder this man." He takes out a slip of paper with a name, address and picture. "Make sure he will not be able to turn you in when he revives."

Luke had some doubt about Vicente's abilities on actually carrying that out by his lone self far from home. But, this Brotherhood did sound interesting and the Police Force could use some 'exercise'. Shame the rest of Millennium weren't present, Major would be definitely be intrigued.

Took the information. Target in question an unknown to him - good, so much easier to get the job done when they were complete strangers.

"After you have done it, I will contact you once more, either in your sleep or privately over the Network." If such a thing as the Network existed in Cyrodiil, it would be much easier to track down and contact Dark Brothers and Sisters.

"I will then properly welcome you and explain our organization in full." Including the Tenets.

"Alright. And please, use the Network."

Glanced down at the gun still clutched in his hand, then over at Len-Len sitting quiet but watchful. "Can't guarantee there won't be an 'accident' next time."

"Very well, the Network it is." He too glances at the gun. "I have yet to test whether Reflect Damage spells work on those contraptions."

"Now, accept this gift," He pulled out a sheathed hunting knife from his robe. It was something you could find in any old hunting store, but he took care to make unique carvings in the handle, similar to the Blade of Woe traditionally given out to prospective Brotherhood recruits.

Luke smiles. "Best to try the experiment with someone else." Friendly reminder of his earlier quick response to Vicente's presence.

Holds out his free hand, all the while running an experienced eye over said gift. Doesn't quite compare to his specialty blade, but will do nicely for the task at hand. Plus using a different knife greatly lessens the chance of the crime getting traced back to him.

"Do not lose it or allow it to be traced to you." He doubts Luke will allow that to happen, but better safe than sorry. "Farewell for now. May we come into contact again very soon." Adjusting his hood, he turns to leave the man.

Doesn't see his 'guest' out. Vicente more than likely entered by highly unconventional means (how else could he bypass both a security system and another vampire's awareness?), will probably exit in the same manner.

Luke waits. Once the other man has departed, he'll thoroughly check the house's perimeter, then retire to the sunny living room, and think awhile over a cup of coffee.
