alisha’s in the change room, with curtis waiting - or brooding - outside. she doesn’t really want to come out. she looks fucking awful. hot pink is definitely not her colour and she’ll gladly admit to it. she stares, rather unimpressed, at herself in the mirror and just waits for curtis to stop huffing and puffing.

[ she pulls out a purple dress shirt. she holds it out to him, sees that she likes it (as curtis in purple is mmmmmmm) and moves towards another rack. she needs a vest! simply because it will make curtis look like a sophisticated hottie. ]

Maybe we should go shopping for him. You missed his birthday.

[ he just watches her almost skeptically. he actually likes purple, so it can work but-- why is she going somewhere else? ]

So let's get you a cardigan or some shit.

[ and before he can say anything, a shirt is being pushed to his chest. he frowns at it and offers her back her dress before going to seriously. try on a shirt. ]

[ she takes her dress. ] There's no way I'm fucking wearing a cardigan that's grey. [ she knows there are nice cardigans out there! and she somewhat trusts curtis' judgement now that he has chosen a decent dress.

he better go try on the shirt. and when he does, alisha would have found a small umbrella ladies use - or would use, since it's pretty much an umbrella for small kids, but it's so pretty with it's dark red colour! - and is drawing weird patterns with the tip of it on the floor. ]

[ and curtis comes out all dressed and fabulous in his purple shirt and just kind of-- waits for her response. his arms go to his side and he expects some kind of joke for something he just doesn't know what, yet.

really, he thinks he looks good, but alisha is his criticizer.

and she's playing with an umbrella. ] Are we going really classy and taking that, too?

[ alisha looks up. hey, why not go all the way if you're wanting to be classy as fuck? she grins, though. he does look good. she points the small umbrella at him. ] We're getting that one. You have nice pants, yeah?

[ and he smiles because, hey, she just outright complimented him! but he pushes the tip of that umbrella down. ]

[ she cocks a brow. ] You seriously need me to tell you which one is classier?

Khaki. [ which isn't what she'd deem "classier", but she figures it won't take away from the nice purple. ] That'd look nice, don't you think?
