Spring Festival [OPEN TO ALL!]
When; Friday, April 6 2012, afternoon into night
Rating; Various! Warn if you need to on individual threads.
Characters; EVERYONE EVER!
Summary; Spring festival
Log;
Xanadu is buzzing this afternoon with with food stands and booths with games to play and trinkets to sell or win. There are a couple of stages where people play instruments, sing, juggle, and otherwise entertain.
People donated money, time and materials to bring everything together. Some areas are very polished and professional while others have more of a homemade touch, but it blends together nicely and there is a little something for everyone. A little further from the main attractions there is space for relaxing or playing a game of frisbee or catch.
As the evening settles upon the City, paper lanterns light up an outdoor dance floor and a band plays a range of music from romantic to spirited. There are also tables set up for those who would prefer to star or people gaze.
(OOC: As mentioned here please feel free to have your character/business set up a booth or stand or to be performing under the appropriate headings! They can be doing if for money, free, or charity. General Mingle | Booths: Games/Merchandise | Food Stands | Entertainment/Street Performers | Dance)

There's a kebab cart here that sells excellent food, if you're hungry.

Do they offer small portions as well? I do not think I could eat a whole kebab.

[ Or... throw it in the trash, alternatively, but even Eames doesn't like wasting food. ]

[ Poor Pancake. Denied everything. ]

[ It's something she might have said this weekend, too, and she looks away after she's said it. ]

Go ahead. Though he may be slow.

She'll be back a little later, a kebab in hand, Pancake much more attentive now even as she frowns down at him, tells him that he cannot eat this, it isn't for him.
She holds out the leash to Eames again before sitting down on the bench as well, on the other side of it with plenty of space between them. ] They did not have small portions.

[ Pancake looks like he wants to try hopping onto the bench, but Eames distracts him with his foot, rubbing his side a bit. ]
Have you spoken with Rupert yet?

[ He pauses a bit, looking her over somewhat subtly. ] Were you ever really interested in horses?

The whole deception would have been less hurtful if it had not given her exactly what she wanted, in so many ways. ]
