[If anyone hits up the beach this evening, they'll find that scrawny Welsh kid soaking up the end of the day rays, mirrored sunglasses perched on his nose. A cooler is next to him, contents carefully guarded until the beach clears out.]

[ Laughing, he snakes his arms around her middle from an awkward angle. ]

Never knew you cared like that, Ames, it makes me feel special.

'course I care, you asshole. [ Pulling him up and into a sitting situation so she can put her arms around him properly. ]

[ He helps her with that, even if it is a floppy lump. ] It's hard to tell sometimes.

Aw, shut up. [ Look, she's gonna hit his shoulder now.

And then kiss him. Because that's how she shows she cares. ]

[ Clint's all too willing to roll with this, kissing her back, and he really gets into it.

Mumbling against her lips. ] Cheater.

[ Good. Yeah, that's good. Can she climb into his lap? ]

Not cheating if it didn't get you to shut up.

[ Of course she can, in fact he'll help her get there. ]

'Cause I'm usually so chatty.

Doing a fine job of it now, though.

[ Wonderful. Straddling him now, shifting a little in a way that's honestly not meant to be provocative. Really. ]

I'm in a good mood, I'm not apologising for it.

[ But it really is. He's holding onto her hips, showing plenty of interest. ]

Nor should you. [ But she's still going to kiss him again, dirty and a little wet and impossible to talk around. ]

[ He shuts up, then, moans into the kiss, an arm going around her back to hold her in place and the other tangling in her hair. ]

[ She's humming into it, pressing herself closer. Kissing him is familiar and comfortable and no less exciting for it. ]

[ Them being friends and all, this should probably be weird, but it's easy for them to fall in and out of it, so while he's in he's taking advantage, hands slipping beneath the hem of her top, head tilting to deepen the kiss that much further. ]

[ Maybe it should be, but when have they ever cared about that kind of thing? She's shifting her hips against his; kissing back just as deeply, hard. ]

[ He holds onto her, lies backwards on the sand taking her with him, and for someone who acts like he doesn't care about much of anything he's definitely passionate about the way they're going at it. ]

[ She goes along willingly, happily even, pressing herself against his warmth and licking into his mouth. They may be friends, but she isn't blind; he's attractive and she loves this. And it isn't as though they've never done this before. It never gets any less exciting. ]

[ It's how the two of them came to meet, Amy throwing herself at him to shake off an unwelcome admirer, and he remembers shrugging and playing along, and the rest was history.

But he does have to break for air, breathing uneven even as he tries to hide it, because sometimes his body betrays his stoic exterior. ] You ever wondered about the sand thing?

[ It worked, too, and she's all the more glad for it because it's gotten her his friendship and this; easy affection and more.

She's breathing harder when the kiss ends, hips still circling in small motions because the pressure and friction feel so good. ]

[ He drops his hands to her legs, fingertips dancing over the flesh of her inner thighs. ] It'd be my genuine pleasure.

[ She moans, softly. ] Knew there was a reason I liked you.

C'mon, let's go somewhere else. [ Where they're not in the middle of a party. That's a bit much even for Amy. ]

It hurts that you needed the reminder.

[ Looking around them, he snorts a laugh. ] Yeah, I've never been much for an audience. Come on. [ He slaps her arse with a smirk and waits for her to get up. ] There's a quieter area over not far from here.

I'll kiss it better in a minute, yeah?

[ Grinning and waggling her eyebrows a little ridiculously while getting up. There's a few catcalls, and she flips them off with a laugh. ] C'mon, then.

Is that a threat or a promise? [ He looks as if either would be okay.

Snorting a laugh, Clint jumps up onto his feet, slides his arms around her from behind and sways them in the right direction. ] The whole bad girl thing really does it for me.

For you? A promise. [ Of course it would be. This is Amy, after all.

Leaning against him a little even as she walks forward. ] Good to know.
