Ready Or Not, Gonna Make It To The City...
When; May 19th, from sunset to evening and beyond! (Just watch out for midnight, Cinderella...)
Rating; G to PG-13?
Characters; Anyone and everyone...and maybe a few more
Summary; Finals are over, the spring dance is here--finally a way for everyone, student and teacher, to relax! All the planning, preparation, and hard work has paid off. Students of all ages and grades are invited, and their teachers are sure to be there too. The school superintendents (read: the Deities) have done their very best to light up the Square. So whether you're from Westerberg High, Trinity Girls' School, Cutler's, Bikini Bottom Middle, or City U, you must have received your engraved invitation by now. Dress is formal, but the occasion is celebratory. Come one, come all. (And even those who aren't cursed may still come to take in the decorations, the food, the entertainment, and the merriment... or they can take pictures for blackmail when this is over.) So come and spend an evening under the stars...
Log;
[This is an open log for the Fast Times at City High dance event! Tags can be open or directed to another character--just throw a label in the subject line. Feel free to NPC wait staff, refreshments, music, and anything else you might encounter at such a soiree. Have fun!]

She's having enough fun that she barely makes a face about gym class. "I do plenty of things, you know."
Now there's an idea...a party for all of them getting in together.

"Like what?" he asks curiously. He's not really surprised that she does, but he does want to know.
It'd be a lot of fun...

And maybe she is or isn't serious when she responds, "Collecting all the research I need from the library can be a lot of work."
The best time ever!
no subject
"You print that much?" he asks automatically. With how he studies, it wouldn't be hard to believe, and she feels pretty fit...! Or is she just that thin? He wasn't paying that much attention.
As it should be!

"Writing, looking for the right books, going between the library and the lab...It's a lot of work. But you know that, right?" Since she's sure he studies at least a bit, even if she only just found out he was interested in science.
Exactly~!

He nods slowly. "Yeah...but..." She works harder than he does in all kinds of ways. He feels a little ashamed that he's not as good. "When we're in school together, let's work together to cut the work."

She's not as obsessed with researching all the time now that she has friends, but she does still pour a lot of energy into it. She figures it's natural for anyone passionate about something...so Tyr's response makes her give him a slightly quizzical look, although she is a little happy, too. "So we'll do some group research? That sounds all right with me, if you can keep up."
no subject
"You know keeping up won't be a problem," he answers confidently. He's glad that they have all become friends; it's how he ended up learning that he likes science, and he wouldn't want that to change now.
no subject
"Then there won't be anything to worry about," she replies with a grin. She really is glad he's taken an interest in science; it feels like they can all become even closer friends...
no subject
All three of them... That's all he really wanted out of getting into science in the first place. There's some laughter in his voice as he responds, "Exactly. We'll be great."
