When; Saturday, 10/27
Rating; Unknown, but Circus-related body horror in many threads
Characters; Bruce Banner, Luke, Serrure, Sif, Asami Sato, open to anyone in City Solutions or with a good reason to be there
Summary; Bruce has ended up treating several of the Circus' victims and now they're cluttering up his lab and apartment. Open post for people to visit Luke, Serrure, and Asami or pester Bruce (and possibly Sif)
Log;
Bruce's lab and apartment hadn't been intended as a makeshift hospital ward, but there they were. He'd set Asami up in his bedroom and Luke and Serrure were still kept in separate rooms to keep their magnetism from dragging their wounded bodies back together.
He's immediately available by network, but at the moment he's in his kitchen brewing up some chamomile tea. More accurately the water's heating and he has his forehead pressed against the stainless steel door of his fridge.
[ooc: Just set up threads for the various temporary residents for easy visitation.]

My hair? Uh... [His eyes unfocus trying to remember his last real haircut.] I trim it myself now and then.
no subject
[ NOT TO BE RUDE just. Yeah. ]
It would give me something to do and I promise I'm great at cutting.
no subject
I guess it's getting in my eyes. I have a pair with my shaving kit. [And don't look at him like that, he shaves, he's just a hairy guy.]
no subject
Go fetch it, we'll make you even handsomer.
no subject
He gets up and returns with his shaving kit, a comb, and a couple of towels, unzipping it to retrieve the scissor to hand over.]
Then I need to go check in on Luke and Serrre.
no subject
Oh. Would you like to go and check on them first? I can eat while you see how they are.

Come on. You're alright on the floor, aren't you?
no subject
Just a little off the top, please.

[ The towel's tossed around his shoulders as a precaution. Brushing her fingers through his hair, she measures the length in her fingers and begins snipping a little off the back. ]
It's a little curly.
[ Springy. ]
no subject
I just let it have its way and spare a lot of fighting.
no subject
It's very nice. [ Humming thoughtfully, the trimming takes up most of her attention. ] Did you know? Before I came here, I'd never seen someone with blond hair before. Or red, or ... pink. We only have brunettes back home.

[He's sure he's been in stranger situations than this, but it's high-level strange to have a young woman who's been magically tranformed into something like a faun in his bed trimming his hair.]
Blondes seem to have originated in colder climates in my world. We have a range of physical adaptations to varied climates.

So do we, just nothing flaxen. [ Only Mako otherwise knows, but what she says next is light enough for chit-chat; with Bruce, anyway. ] I have Fire Nation blood on my mother's side. There's some Earth Kingdom in there too, hence my green eyes.

[ Smoothing through his hair, she leans over a shoulder to take a peek down at his eyes. ]

I'll keep that in mind.
[
Talk about being patently ridiculous.Ruffling his hair to slide the longer strands at the crown between her knuckles, she forces herself to lean back, break the look and clear her throat. Snip, snip. What had they been talking about? ]You're very Earth Kingdom-y. You can be so helpful and obliging, then you'll dig in your heels to say something that would be gritty, if I didn't mind ... or maybe it's meant to be and I'm just not getting offended around you as much as I should.
no subject
Gritty? I wonder if that means the same thing where you're from as where I'm from. I'm not trying to be offensive, I can tell you that much.
no subject
[ She blows on his neck to free up those strands, smiling as she slides into fashionable street-talk. ]
You'll be hitting on all sixes, not a rag-a-muffin in sight to razz.
no subject
That's a complete throwback to 20s or 30s slang where I'm from. I won't even try to use modern slang from my world, I'd just sound clueless.
no subject
[ Enough hair is left to flop forward over his brow, though not to get in his eyes. Peeling gentle fingertips through, the greyer areas near his temples are next ... maybe once she's finished working out the 'knots'. ]
Use some of your slang. C'mon.
no subject
I don't know. You'd be better off asking the Serrure. He pays attention to that stuff. My slang's probably 20 years out of date anyway.
no subject
[ Well, he obviously shouldn't have such nice hair then. Hmph. ]
Have a think, there's no rush.
