Mingle Log!
When; July 5th through July 7th!
Rating; G+
Characters; Open to ALL, 4th Wallers and Citizens!
Summary; The celebrations continue, and the Anonymous regime has summoned guests that Citizens might (not) prove very thrilled to see! As opposed to other Fourth Wall events, all visiting characters will have been invited to the City, or they must arrive here of their own will.
Mingle! Explore~!
Log;
There's so much to do and so much to see in this City of cities. From tromping through Xanadu, long walks along the shore, shopping in the Square, hunting in the forest, meeting a contact in the Underground, or getting as many answers as possible at the Welcoming Center how can anyone decide on just one. In three days time so much can be done!
Shops and restaurants are having specials. Happy hour has become happy days in some bars. This is quite the occasion! When the City decides to celebrate, it becomes contagious. Why not smile and strike up a conversation with a stranger? After all, a stranger is a friend you haven't met yet.

One day she was there, the next day she was in her hospital room safe. But then she was in the city and she's quite sure she's not supposed to be.
Still, experience is the meat of the writer's meal so she's trying not to be too scared or look too out of place.
She's not all white yet, she's not all gone yet. So there's still fear. Sitting there just as he comes around the corner.]

Wait a second. He looks right at the odd, odd girl. The backdrop temporarily misplaces her name in his mind but he knows that face somehow.]

Before focusing on her shoes again.]
no subject
You know them?
no subject
...What are you doing here?
no subject
A little bit of this.
[He holds up his beer bottle that was hanging down beside his leg.]
A little bit of that.
[Now the cigarette that streams smoke as he moves it.]
Kind of a party, I guess.
no subject
IT's not. If it were I wouldn't be here.
no subject
How come?
[Because there is a whole City around them. A pretty big one. Not a snoozeville suburb hidden in the wood.]
no subject
...Because I'm not [popular. Putting out. Pretty.] Usually invited.
...Unless you're going to a party.

[What is with this girl? There's something troubling about her. Roman's brand of caring as a stranger is already feeling flimsy under her sharp eyes.]
I might. Have you had a chance to look around? Lots of places are open.
[He could technically leave. Leave right now and leave her alone except that would be defeat.]
no subject
[beat]
To be here with.
no subject
What about me?
[Roman looks left and then behind him. Then right and behind him.]
I don't have anybody. They let me in.
[As though being a Godfrey had any weight at all. In this world it does not.]
no subject
You're a Godfrey you're always here with someone.
[beat] always anywhere. Where's Pet-where's the gypsy?
no subject
[Boy if that were so. He wouldn't feel so lonely. Popularity is a solitary place as far as he's concerned.]
I'm alone right now.
[Can't she see? Her mentioning gets him feeling that extra detachment. Peter somehow is always at home everywhere. Roman guesses that's what happens when you're a wanderer. Every place can be home if you let it.]
Peter? I don't know. Not here. I mean, I don't think he's here. I don't think he's a city guy.
[Shrug. She knew his name though.]
no subject
Of course not.
The wide open woods and spaces.
That's what he likes, but not you. Wheredo you go.
no subject
Sounds about right. Less people.
[Who get the wrong idea about the guy. Gypsy, werewolf, whatever he is, Peter is not the person people believe.]
Who says I don't?
[Well. She does.]
Go? Anywhere. Nowhere. I'm here right now. A weird person with a painted face told me there's a castle somewhere around here.
[Roman shrugs. He could stare too. Would it do anything to her? Does he even want to find out?]
no subject
I'm unpopular. I'm not pretty [The white streaks especially.] I'm weird. I've seen weird things. Nobody likes things that throw off their worldview.
no subject
[In his mind the words were understanding, out loud it sounds callous. Oops.]
Hey. Me? I'm weird. I see things. [And he feels compelled to say it again.] I do. Weird dreams. That kind of thing. It's gotta be normal for us.
[Somehow he has this odd, nagging feeling that she, like Peter, may be young in age but do not have the same journey he does. Fuck that. He dismisses it immediately.]
Is it that much fun sitting here? Jeez.
no subject
[Her heart beats and his beats and she can tell...she thinks she can tell.
he's right.] Can I come with you?
