Summary: There are no Star Wars people in the City so let's have ourselves a bit of education.

What started off as a brosession quickly turned into a free for all movie night. Not that Stiles minds considering, but it means he has to plan and execute everything a lot more smoothly. So when Saya offers up the equipment they need he jumps at the chance.

Isaac helps cart everything about - werewolf strength, Stiles is envious -, and together they track down a space in Xanadu and fill it. It's not a hot night but it's warm and balmy and nobody's going to end up with pneumonia. Squashy beanbags get borrowed off a particularly hipster coffee shop and placed liberally about the place. They take what they can, couches that fit out of doors and large obnoxious cushions so everyone has a place to settle. There's a fuckton of candy too. Stiles pretty much wipes out a weeks allowance alone getting it and the soda. But if he's doing something he's doing it properly and he texts everyone the time and the place and all but collapses into a beanbag.

When people arrive he'll move. Honest.

Clint Barton

An evening out of the apartment is exactly what Clint needs, so he knew the second he got the invite that he would be putting in an appearance, and an excuse to catch up with a few people is never something he lets pass by.

He's accustomed to sitting out in the cold for long periods of time, but he still throws on his thickest pair of combats and a jumper to go with it, plus a new jacket he's recently acquired; he's not dressed up for the occasion, exactly, but he looks smart enough.

He finds an empty beanbag and settles down into it, sprawling out like he owns the place and making himself very much at home. But he's also brought a fair amount of alcohol with him, so if anyone happens to want in, all they have to do is ask.

Stiles is an alcohol bloodhound. Actually, no. He sees Clint and he makes a beeline for him, folding himself into the space beside him and grinning.

"Hey."

Bloodhound or not, Clint automatically grabs a beer from the generously sized cooler and hands it over.

"Hey," he returns with a smile, and then he gestures around them with his head. "This all down to you?"

[studmuffin]

Hey awesome, free bear.

"Yeah. Scott's never seen Star Wars. I figured now we've got time I can rectify that. Of course Scott told everyone we know and now look."

That explains why Scott was asking the other day, but he never did get around to asking why.

"Good turnout. It should be a regular thing." He pats him consolingly on the back. "It doesn't mean you can't make him watch it again. Just the two of you."

[studmuffin]

"Nah, this is good."

He doesn't mind the big group, actually. "Things have been a little weird between us. We're good like this for now."

"You guys have a falling out?"

It's none of his business, really, and he likes to think that Stiles would let him know if he would rather keep it that way, but he does look genuinely concerned; he likes both of the kids, and especially while they're here, he wouldn't like to think of them drifting.

"Nah, not really. Just things are different here, right? I'm different too. He still remembers the person I used to be."

"The time gap." It never occurred to him before, but it makes senses. "Guess you've been here long enough for things to change, huh?"

[studmuffin]

"A year now."

He shrugs. "I guess I grew up and he didn't get to see it."

[bettercallit]

"Growing up doesn't mean you're not the same person. Do whatever it is you guys did before, things'll fall back into place with a little time."

[studmuffin]

"Yeah, probably."

He just finds it awkward. There's other things to consider. His not so secret relationship with Derek for one.

"Maybe once he gets my Star Wars jokes we'll be cool."

[bettercallit]

"It's a plan that can't fail. And if you need any extra help, I could always bang your heads together."

The relationship part he suspects, but doesn't ask about; he would probably be tempted to do something drastic to find out if Derek has good intentions.

[studmuffin]

"There's totally no need for violence upon my person. I'm squishy and delicate."

"Don't sell yourself short." He takes a minute to look him up and down, though, and then pokes him in the stomach to check on the squishy factor. "Y'know, if you ever wanna build up some bulk, I'd be willing to help out."

[studmuffin]

"Hey."

Flapping his hands and shoving Clint a little. "I don't know, maybe? I like my ridiculous lifestyle of sleep."

[bettercallit]

The shove barely touches him, but he lets himself flop to the side all the same.

"You could still sleep. But parts of you that you never knew you had will probably ache."

[studmuffin]

"That doesn't sound like a good time to me, bro."

[bettercallit]

"Probably not in the beginning, but after? It feels good. And you reap the benefits."

[studmuffin]

"Are the benefits unending pain?"

[bettercallit]

"Nah, but there's less chance of running outta breath in a life or death situation."

[studmuffin]

Clint, his life does not involve life or death situations.

"Can I think about it?"

[bettercallit]

"Sure, but don't think too hard on it, I'd hate to see you hurt yourself."

He'll take your word on that, Stiles.

"Yeah yeah, you're hilarious."
