Summary: There are no Star Wars people in the City so let's have ourselves a bit of education.

What started off as a brosession quickly turned into a free for all movie night. Not that Stiles minds considering, but it means he has to plan and execute everything a lot more smoothly. So when Saya offers up the equipment they need he jumps at the chance.

Isaac helps cart everything about - werewolf strength, Stiles is envious -, and together they track down a space in Xanadu and fill it. It's not a hot night but it's warm and balmy and nobody's going to end up with pneumonia. Squashy beanbags get borrowed off a particularly hipster coffee shop and placed liberally about the place. They take what they can, couches that fit out of doors and large obnoxious cushions so everyone has a place to settle. There's a fuckton of candy too. Stiles pretty much wipes out a weeks allowance alone getting it and the soda. But if he's doing something he's doing it properly and he texts everyone the time and the place and all but collapses into a beanbag.

When people arrive he'll move. Honest.

Of course. He doesn't have to. Everybody's welcome. The more, the merrier. Todd's your roommate, right?

Mm-hmm. [He nods. It'd be just as apt to say his best friend, or to say any number of other things which he absolutely never says, but roommate is the easiest explanation.] Back home, too. At school.

[affectioning]

Oh, awesome, you know him from home. That's really cool. I have friends here, too. And my mom, actually... [ Which is interesting sometimes. And really great others. ]

Wow. [He's not sure if that's a good thing or a bad one. Hopefully good.] It's just the two of us-- no family. Our friend Charlie visited once, but he didn't stay. It's nice though, having someone familiar. I think it made it easier to adjust to being here.

[affectioning]

[ Most times, good? ] It would be. You guys are really good friends? Or, better friends after being here?

Well, both, i think. We've known each other longer here, though.

[affectioning]

You only sort of knew each other there?

[had_not_lived]

It was his first year, so we just didn't know each other for very long.

[affectioning]

But you guys got to know each other better and now you're really good friends and you watch each other's backs.

[had_not_lived]

Well, sure.

[He laughs a bit at that.]

I don't know if I've ever put it quite that way, though. Watching each other's backs, but I guess we do? I mean... Other than the curses the City's usually pretty safe. There's not so much to watch out for.

[affectioning]

What do you do in the City?

I run a used bookstore. And from time to time we put on plays, like I said.

[affectioning]

Right. I'll stop in some time. I like to read. I haven't been able to for a few weeks now. Do you have a lot of classics?

[had_not_lived]

Sure! We have a little of everything, really. And a lot of Oscar Wilde, for some reason.

[affectioning]

Who?

[had_not_lived]

He wrote The Importance of Being Earnest. And The Picture of Dorian Gray, and, well, lots of things.

[affectioning]

Books? Are they good?

[had_not_lived]

Sure! Earnest is a play, actually-- it's one of the ones we put on in the City. I guess it was a few years ago, now.

[affectioning]

What's it about?

[had_not_lived]

Oh, it's a comedy about-- well, it's a little complicated. Borrowing names and wooing women and shocking coincidences. It's very funny.

[affectioning]

It sounds cool. It's a comedy? I want to read it.

[had_not_lived]

I'll find you a copy if you come by. We've got a few left from putting it on, I think.
