We used to ride, baby ride around in limousines [Closed]
When; September 20th
Rating; Let's call it TV-14 to be safe.
Characters; Lydia Martin
lefthandedgenius and Roman Godfrey
saturniapavonia
Summary; To the victor goes the spoils; Roman and Lydia's date.
Log;
Lydia actually has no idea where Roman is taking her, but she decides to risk dressing for the occasion anyway. A guy who drives the car he claims he does is a guy who deserves a little red dress. Add to that the fact that he'd come running to help her, and didn't make her feel like she was a mutant or yelled at her when she came out of the banshee closet. The truth was, even with his own brand of weirdness that he'd shared with her, he's just the sort of guy she'd have dated back in Beacon Hills, her current arrangement with Aiden aside. But Aiden isn't here, and Roman is, and at the end of the day Roman ain't hard on the eyes, either.
She doesn't like to give the impression that she's waiting for someone to show up when going out on a date, but at the same time she doesn't want Melissa to worry, nor does she want Scott to feel like he has to play the protective bigbrother alpha. So she does her best to time things so she doesn't have to answer a lot of questions and she and Roman can transition quickly from the apartment to getting out the door.

No. There's no one at home for me. I lived with my mother and sister.
[Past tense because now he just lives with is mother.]
My cousin too. They were the only ones for me on average. But I mean [Roman rubs his nose and lightens up his tone considerably by saying] it's different in that way.
[Interesting that Lydia would think to be anything less than what she is. Because she's fucking rad.]
So I take it you're not with the guy who likes dumb girls anymore.
no subject
At the query, her expression turns a little wry.]
No. He broke up with me actually; decided to move to London. In retrospect, it wasn't the best thing for either of us. The relationship, I mean. [Dating homicidal lizards is hazardous to your health, Lydia.]
no subject
[Whether she minds or not there it is. He's digging into the dessert. It is sure not going to last by long.]
Sort of nice how it wrapped up like that.
no subject
You think? The move to London was probably the best thing for him. But it was pretty clean. I'm surprised though, that you weren't seeing anybody. Or do you play the field? [Ain't nothing wrong with that. That's been Lydia's MO throughout the new school year.]
no subject
[So many just girls. And so many easy girls. And so many fathers and mothers that would rather have their daughters be old maids then be with the Godfrey heir that put so many workers out of commission when the company changed from steel to technology and chemistry.]
Not many people like my family.
[Is that a safe way to put it he wonders. Roman licks the remaining bit of the cake from his fork before setting it down.]
no subject
I won't lie, I'd be curious as to why that is, but I think we're about to leave and go dancing soon, right? So why trap either of us in the muck of things we don't really want carry on our shoulders right now?
no subject
Exactly. But. Keep it in mind. I might tell you.
[To be a little shit. Roman stands and offers his hand to her.]
no subject
She accepts his hand, standing up. It's off to the Underground, now!]

And let's just get this out of the way: her hips don't lie.]

Wanna get some air?
[Asked close to her ear. His lip grazes the top most curve of delicate cartilage and skin.]
no subject
Sure.
[Her hand finds his so she can guide him off the dance floor, but once at its edge, the lead will change and he gets to be the guide.]
no subject
Having a good time?
[Make that two hands on her hips.]
no subject
[Her back is to the ledge, and there's no place to go save for where Roman lets her. Did she do that on purpose? Hard to say.]
no subject
I dunno. I think I can be boring sometimes.
[But he's not about to go into detail seriously. Roman tilts up her face to see if she tastes like strawberry, chocolate or the interesting scent that was coated like candy under his own blood over dinner.]
no subject
You're not being boring right now. Want me to let you know if we're taking the road to Dullsville?
[The delicate corners of her mouth are turned upward. His mouth is catching her attention, too.]
no subject
I drive. You be the GPS.
[Because he's going at it again. His hands give her hips and the fabric of her dress a mild wrenching of a squeeze before he leans in body to body like they had dancing.]
no subject
Well to start with, I'm sure your hands can find their way to some interesting rest stops along the map.
[The upward tilt of her chin invites him to kiss her. Neither of them will be able to fairly argue that one kissed the other; it's pretty 50/50.]
no subject
Hmmm?
[One hand has found the hem of her skirt the other is admiring the curve upward from her hip. She has a pretty great rack that he can even appreciate from the side.]
no subject
Well aren't you the trailblazer.
[Figure it out later, Roman. With a tug of his lapel, she's kissing him quite promptly.]
no subject
It's forward yes, but a lazy motion. They're still on a first date.]
You taste this good everywhere?
[At least that's what he asks when they part again. Whoops. There was a metaphor. He sort of tossed it. Blame it on how great of a kisser she is.]
no subject
Maybe one day soon you'll find out.
[She seems to be a fan of kissing, however. She might be guarding the southern gate so to speak, but she's all in when it comes to the kissing, nipping, teasing with her tongue.]
no subject
I can guess.
[Or at least have a taste of what is at her neck. His own brand of nibbling and teasing. Already it seems like he's spent too much time with Peter. Lydia is softer, sweeter, better over all he tells himself. The world and gravity are acting like they should even in a place where he is another lost soul.
The more this goes on, the more he'll have to fight a stiff one.]
....wanna dance more?
[Even though he is really happy with touching her rump and hair and trying to kiss his way to a new route.]
