Best. Curse. Ever.
When; Mistletoe curse
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Julie and YOU
Summary; Julie runs errands during the kissing curse. What could possibly go wrong?
Log;
[ooc: Julie can be found a variety of places. Grocery shopping, the garage, the park, the library at one point and even later on trying to get home without getting kissed. You can even find her at the shooting range.
So clearly she must be accosted and kissed. Have at it.]

He's been searching for a while, going between information and looking for corresponding titles. Either books on ballet are very well liked by members of the City, very rare, or the City is doing its best to hinder him. He doesn't really care.
But it's during one of these trips that he runs into Julie. He's less on edge than the day he took a very young Julie to a zombie movie (and he's still not sure what to think of it beyond 'blasphemous to art'), mostly because he has his addictions of choice back and partly because of the idea that's hit him.
He nods to her. "Mademoiselle." It is, after all, only polite to acknowledge her.
[ooc: if you prefer action tagging, go for it. I just tend to go actual prosey in logs.]

"Hello! I've been meaning to thank you for watching out for me the other day when I was cursed."
Totally not seeing the mistletoe growing over their heads.

He's missed the mistletoe growing overhead.
"What're you reading?"

Jesse! Hey. Oh, don't worry about it. I didn't see you, either.
[She also doesn't see the mistletoe growing on a lamp post above Jesse's head. If she did, she wouldn't be beading over so she wasn't shouting in public.]

Eating healthy, nice.
[As she leans, something tells Jesse to glance at his surroundings. He does, and notices certain greenery around them.]
Hey, uh, did you notice?
[He points at the mistletoe growing above them and shuffles forward a little.]

he's leaning against a shelf and pouring over a book, until he hears footsteps and realizes that someone's around and probably wants to check out the piles of books behind him. and then he realizes that that someone is julie. ]
Hey. Sorry, am I blocking you?
[ he goes to move - but there's suddenly a mistletoe over their heads, so he's definitely not moving away. ]

She'd found a couple beginners book, not at all feeling stupid for her lack of culinary know-how. The last one she needed was near John, and that mistletoe, so instead of finding her book, she found herself dropping the small stack of books she held. Kissing John was much more interesting and important.
Her fingers curl into his shirt and her lips press against his. This wasn't going to be awkward in a few minutes or anything, no.]
