Kabuto frowned down at himself for the hundredth time. For some reason his shirt was missing, all of his shirts were missing. Why it happened today, he didn't know, but he was going to try and not let it interfere.

He had spent most of the previous day, and all of that morning preparing for having guests over. He had made cakes, cookies, pies, dango, sandwiches and all sorts of snacks, as well as prepared the tea (also picked up the milk and orange juice). Once everything was ready to his liking, he had started moving the food to the balcony, having set up a table and chairs out there.

Honestly, Kabuto had no idea how many people would be showing up, this could end up being a small event. Even so, he had done what he could to make sure there was enough for those he knew would be arriving shortly, and whoever else might be showing up.

He examined his handy work one last time; satisfied with what he saw, he returned to the inside of his apartment, waiting for guests to arrive.

"Okay...and Neji? Sorry for dragging you here." She smiled briefly before slipping past the other shinobi for the table laden with food.

She glanced over at Shizune, noticing that the two Sound nins were already having a disagreement with the Akatsuki member. Well... at least they weren't picking on the Konoha yet. She sighed, grabbing a glass of water for the older boy before heading back over to him.

"Thank you, Tenten." Neji took the water from his teammate, and took a sip, nodding to her. "And..it is alright. We came here to aid Shizune..." He closed his eyes, remembering how the woman had saved his life after the sound ninja Kidoumaru had almost taken it. "Let us ask her if she still needs us...and then we can leave at our leisure." He opened his eyes once more, and looked at Tenten.

"Also, I wanted to ask you something..."

"I'll leave that much to you." She smiled again, taking a deep breath as she looked around again. That Shizune had turned her down to stay here was... somewhat admirable. Even upgraded the place had an edge to it that was probably nothing more than Kabuto's natual presense anyway.

"Ask away, Neji. Whatever you need."

"Well...I have nowhere to stay here...." He turned his head, closing his eyes, as his expression turned to one of contemplation. "Since we are teammates, I was wondering if I could reside with you for the time being. We could work together to find our way through this place. No different than our normal missions.."

She grinned, amused he felt he needed to justify his request. "It's fine, Neji. You're more than welcome to~ It's better to stick together around here anyway," she responded, turning to face the bickering sound and Akatsuki. Just like children, really.

Shizune looked over at the two teammates on her way to escorting Hinata to her bedroom to cover herself.

"One moment-" She mouthed in their direction, planning on making their way over there once she had attended to the Hyuuga girl.
