[Quiet for a moment, then reaching up to cup the side of Blue's face, much like his master did.]

You're man enough to choose to go to war, Blue. Don't start trying to please me by what I desire.

[It's too much. Today was too much, between Jack and Dream and Cori. He blinks hard. That's all he can manage.]
