strawberried (do I really want to go there?), and uh no bad guys. BYOB, the Mario Kart is always on so assume games as you like (and of course everything is unlocked), play nice, don't break anything or Ted will go all Hulk on your ass (more like Kate will kick you out). Poke me with an ooc comment if you want in but don't know if you'd be invited or not. Backdating or assuming is fiiiine.
Log;
They had chips, popcorn, pop, water, juice, and coffee. Teddy had checked three times. He'd also changed his shirt at least four times, and his pants once (they didn't match the shirt), and then he'd had to fix his hair. He didn't know why he was so nervous about having a bunch of friends over to hang out, but really he knew it was because he'd never had people over as a kid. And he'd never gone over to other people's houses. He'd been to high school house parties, but it wasn't the same, he'd never felt comfortable in all that loud music and nearly-naked girls. So what kind of parties did people like him throw for other people like him? He had no idea. He was going by what he'd seen on tv and heard about colloquially, which he was aware wasn't entirely reliable. What if people got bored?
Not to mention he'd ended up inviting way more people than he'd originally planned. It was just that, once he'd invited one person he felt guilty about not inviting someone else or maybe forgetting someone and it just snowballed from there. Hopefully they wouldn't fun out of food. Or space. He'd just realized lately how much time he actually spent with Billy and felt bad for all the friends who had been there for him while Billy had been away.
So rather than count the food again he went into the living room and started flipping through his iPod to find something suiable to listen to. You couldn't go wrong with Arcade Fire, right?

Spotting Billy on the floor he approached him quietly. Whether this was a normal thing to do at parties he didn't know; he certainly didn't see anyone doing that at Road's birthday party.
"Billy?"
no subject
He smiles. "Hey," he says. "I'm glad you came." He is glad that the little mage is there. Fai is starting to feel like a little brother; except way better behaved. "Have you ever played Mario Kart?"
no subject
"Mario Kart?" He shook his head slowly. "No. What is it? Is it a game?"
no subject
He knows that Fai probably has never really played video games, so he explains the controller with a decided bounce of excitement in his voice. "Here," he says, beginning on an easy course. "Don't worry about winning we'll just play to learn."
no subject
He chewed on his lower lip without knowing as he tried his best not to fall over the edge. "Darn..." Although he knew he wasn't playing to win (yet) he still couldn't help frowning. He'd definitely have to show this game to Yuui later when he got better.
no subject
He nudges Fai just a little. "Oh, did you want anything to eat?"
no subject
He blinked again and looked to the screen in thought. "No...Not yet." He had seen the platters of food earlier, but he had been unsure of whether he was allowed to eat any of it yet.
Or maybe that was just his bashfulness coming out to rear it's ugly head at him in the most inopportune times.
no subject
It did worry him, just a touch, how much Teddy was investing into this party, thing, whatever. Not enough though that he pulled his boyfriend aside. Yet. "You can have as much as you like."
no subject
"Billy, what does Teddy look like?" Fai had yet to see him here and he'd be lying if he said he didn't want to meet him. His cheeks flushed lightly at Billy's last comment, knowing if he had his way he'd try at least three of everything they were serving. Fai found discovering new foods to eat extremely enjoyable, if not a guilty pleasure.

The question makes Billy filter his thoughts. Whenever someone asks what Teddy looks like he has to stop so that he doesn't start babbling about how perfect he looks - not that he really would look perfect to anyone else, Billy fully realizes - so he takes a moment and after the moment is over he replies. "He's blond, with blue eyes, taller than me."
He can't see Teddy at that exact moment, so he can't really point him out. "When I see him I'll show you."
no subject
"Alright." He watched the other as he began to compile food, curious as to what exactly he was gathering. He picked up a twinkie package and blinked at it. Was this really food?

...In which he made a face and briefly wondered if it would be rude to spit it back out.

He couldn't help but give a small pout at Billy, seeing him trying not to laugh, but it disappeared quickly. "What was that called?" So that he could avoid it later in the future.
no subject
"It's called a twinkee," he explains, undeterred by the pout. "I thought most people liked them."
no subject
It was a damn shame the counters were just high enough to make looking difficult for him.

after Adventures in Modern Cuisine with Billy Kaplan
But rather than dwell on that, he stepped up to where Billy is standing and dropped an arm over his shoulders. "Hey."
after Adventures in Modern Cuisine with Billy Kaplan
"You good?" He asks casually, which actually means, Have you relaxed yet?
feel free to jump in btw, Fai-mun
"How do you feel about going shopping this weekend?" he asks abruptly, making a bit of a face as he looks down at Bill's "outfit". It's not as though he looks bad, he looks like Billy, but he could still look like Billy and own shirts that don't have superheroes on them.
no subject
He pauses at the mention of the word shopping. It's not that Billy hates shopping - it's that it's so much work for just a few shirts. "Uh. Well okay."
no subject
"Good. It'll be quick and painless, I promise," he says, and gives his boyfriend a big smile as reward for a Correct Answer.
no subject
He thinks about this. It could be very bad, if Kate decides to come along, but as long as Kate doesn't find out about this shopping trip they might be able to get in and out without issue. "Just nothing I have to button up."
