Summary; Tony is having a Midsummer Night Party at his house

True to his word, Tony has everything ready. His house has been turned into party central. There's a stage and a DJ stand in his living room. The rest of the room has been turned into a dance floor. JARVIS has locked rooms that people should not be in such as his bedroom and his workshop. Other then that, the house is open to everyone. Music has been piped down to the beach and there is a roaring bonfire there.

Staff dressed in costumes befitting Shakespeare's play mill about with food. Down on the beach there are hot dogs to be roasted as well as marshmallows. There's staff down there as well.

There is of course an open bar both on the beach and in the house.

Tony is dressed a bit like this as Miss Rushman veto'd dressing up as Iron Man. He can't think of a better costume than the boy who never grew up. Yes he has on tights. No he doesn't care.

"I believe the last time you wore it here, or at least a part of it, you managed to leave a good portion of the City without power. Perhaps Miss Rushman was being wise, for it would not do to host a party in the dark," she says, laughing. "Though I am curious. What happened the last time you wore your suit to a party that would cause her to veto the idea?"

"And that was only the boots and gloves," he waggled his eyebrows at her. He pauses pondering how much to tell her. "I got drunk, showed off the filtration system in the suit. Shot watermelons and bottles of champagne with the blasters, pissed my assistant off and held a battle royale with my Bert friend. We serenity wearing Iron Man suits and it resulted in breaking all my windows and several of my walls."

No one can say he's not honest

"Remind me to stay well clear of you when you have completed the suit," she says with a laugh.

His honesty is a bit surprising. She's silent for a moment, processing what he said. "Perhaps you need a separation from your wife," she suggests quietly. "Although, it is hard sometimes for me to believe you are anywhere near as reckless as you suggest, considering the only side I have seen of you is anything but."

"Most of the time when I'm in the suit that's a good idea," he tells her. Although not for the reasons she thinks right now. He's generally right in the thick of something bad if he's wearing the suit.

"That's been suggested," Tony tells her. He ponders what she's saying. "I suppose so far you've seen me in fairly controlled environments. I've been on my best behavior."

"Even without your suit, I think you are quite a bit like a fire- best viewed and enjoyed from afar. Too close, and one might get burned. However, I think it is that aspect, combined with your incredible charisma, which makes you so attractive. If all I have seen is your best behavior, then I recommend you keep it up." Reinette spots a familiar face in the crowd and gestures towards her with a nod. "It is no wonder Romana fell for the previous you."

"I'm not sure how you do that; make an insult sound like a compliment," he grins at her, taking note of her nod toward Romana. "I suppose. Although if I'm honest he doesn't sound much like me. Or rather he sounds like the boy who grew up."

"It is a skill one needs in my world; the royal court can be quite competitive." She laughs, shaking her head. "It certainly was not meant as an insult, and I apologize if it came across that way."

She glances again at the Time Lady. "Perhaps one day the great Tony Stark does grow up. After all, this world pulls us all from different places and times. Purely speculation, of course, but maybe it was you."

"You're forgiven of course," he tells her and takes a sip of his drink. He clutches his hand to his heart and staggers back as if she's wounded him.

"The horror. I can't imagine anything worse."

She reaches out an arm to "steady" him, laughing. "Perhaps it is too wild an idea. How could I ever have suggested such a thing?"

"Too much champagne, obviously," Tony grins at her. "Which means of course you must have more."

Her smile matches his. "So that I might take further leave of my senses? A counterproductive decision, at best. However, you are the host, and this is your event, so who am I to protest?"

"But when you completely take leave of your senses, you'd be surprised what fun you can have," Tony chuckles. "You are the consummate guest. You really should teach classes in it. We'll have to add it to the roster at Stark University."

Reinette joins in the laughter. "So now I shall be taking and teaching classes. How you will be monopolizing my time. I will be left with not time for anything or anyone else!"

"Have you stopped to consider that's my plan?" He quirks an eyebrow up at her and grins a bit.

She gasps with pretended shock. "If so, it is working marvelously. I have many apologies to compose for those whom I have been neglecting. I shall have to add devious to your list of endearing traits."

"I'll get you a book for that list," Tony chuckles. "Dance first and then more champagne? I don't want to impair your dancing too much before I've gotten my time in with you."

"Dance first, and then I will consider more champagne. After all, this is your party, and I would not want any sort of inebriated shenanigans to draw the attention away from you." She pauses for a moment, and then with a smile: "I am not sure your ego could handle it."

He laughs and puts his hand to his heart. "You wound me. As long as you're willing ot share--alright. You're probably correct but I'm fairly sure I could make do depending on which shenanigans you engage in." That comes with a waggle of his eyebrows and a devilish grin.

"Tame ones," she asserts with a smile. "And nothing like whatever it is you are imagining right now. If I must engage in scandalous behaviour, it shall be on my terms."

He manages to look incredibly disappointed. "You crush my soul but at least you're getting the point of being scandalous."

"I fear we may have arrived at an impasse. Any scandalous ideas I might conjure will probably be deemed too tame, while all ideas of your would be far too scandalous for me to carry out." She sighs, sharing his look of disappointment. "Whatever shall we do?"

"I believe, Madame, it's called a compromise. We'll have to come up with one," Tony chuckles.

"Indeed we shall. You name your terms and I shall name mine."

"It has to be something you'd never get away with in your world," Tony answers. Of course from what he knows of her world, this leaves things wide open.

"There is a lot that I could never get away with in my world. I am not like you or the king; I do not have so much freedom with my actions. Add in the fact that I am woman, and it is a miracle that I am allowed to dress myself in the morning," she scoffs.
