LOG: ONGOING [The Ark]

When; Sept. 29, all day and night!
Rating; PG-13 at most?
Characters; OPEN
Summary; The biggest storm you've ever seen has just broken out across the City. Water everywhere. But don't worry, if you were at the construction site chances are you're on the boat so it's time to get cozy with your neighbors in your new home. Who's 'in charge' you wonder? Well [Bad username or site: tharheblows title= @ livejournal.com] is--as your arkmaster, captain, and host. He's steering that ship into safety for all of you and has only one thing to say to those who've chosen to stay behind in the City: SUCKAS
Log;

[ooc: Here is the log taking place on the ark for all participating characters! Feel free to log whatever you'd like while the ship is at sea weathering the storm. Label threads accordingly for open interaction, group interaction, what have you. And remember, the City is not being washed away (although the view from the ark would be unclear) and network devices will work the same as they always do. Further information on the ark curse can be found here. We hope you all have fun ♥

[That greeting does a lot of good for Todd's own smile. He can't help but brighten at that.]

Yeah, I'm... Neil and I are both settled in, mostly. I mean, as much as I think we really can be.

[There's a meek shrug at that; really, it's said in good humor.]

How about you?

[And though she may be a bit damp, he's still getting a hug once he's near enough.]

I know exactly what you mean. But I'm just fine, myself. I've got my things put away and I made sure to pack an extra blanket and plenty of snacks, so even if it is a bit awful out, at least we can have a few treats to help make things a bit more bearable.

[He's just gotten to the point where he isn't still dripping himself, so he's in no position to complain. Not that he would anyway, as he returns the hug himself.]

Yeah, we brought some food, too. Maybe we should see what we've got all together and pool our snacks.

[A bit of lightheartedness can't hurt the situation, really.]

[And if she stays in that hug for maybe a bit longer than she usually might, well, that could be for any number of reasons, really.]

That sounds like a fine idea to me! I haven't the slightest idea what sort of order they might be in, though. I was in such a hurry to get down to the boat that I rather just threw as much as I could into a basket and rushed out the door.

[He won't call her on that, nor particularly mind. Comforts are few and far between at the moment.]

That sounds a lot like how I packed. I threw some clothes in one bag, some food in another... and we basically just ran.

[Lots of hugs are necessary. And even after she pulls away, she still stays close, just a bit closer than what might be called standard friendly personal space.]

I brought Snowdrop with me, too. I managed to grab her before I left, so she's safe and sound in her basket with the rest of my things.
