Summary; As the amnesia curse worsens, Gremio loses much, much more than just his cooking skills.

[With one of the few reacquired skills he's picked up, Gremio prepares a pot of tea as part of his usual morning routine. It's possible he might be able to handle a simple breakfast...though he'd be better off leaving it to his housemates--Luc or Riou. Between the three of them, surely one can cook a good meal while he cleans.

And as far as he remembers, they don't live with anyone else.]

... All right. [ Tyr might be genuinely moody now when he cracks the eggs at the side of the pan. He'll just make scrambled eggs and divide it between them. Whisking with a fork~ ]

[ I'm not entiiirely sure what it does, but that was my observation! ]

[He pours the too-strong tea, anyway; although he pours a cup for Tyr as a courtesy, he doesn't add anything to it. Gremio then starts sweeping the kitchen floor in an awkward silence.]

[Ah, but that's still kind of neat! Also, last one before bed. Night~]

[ Tyr isn't even facing Gremio. He actually wants to be alone right now the answer to any problem he might ever have, obviously. He'll make the eggs a bit runny. He doesn't do anything special with the eggs; he stirs in salt and pepper and pours them in, but that's it. ]

[ Sleep well! :D and I think it's cool, too. It make me think of how different Tyr and Riou's characters are. :3 ]

[The uncomfortable silence continues for a time until Gremio can no longer put up with it. Tyr might be strange and moody, but he's still cooking breakfast and Gremio's being a terrible host...Not to mention he's still a little miffed over the boy's claims. Try as he might, he can't take his mind off of the picture, which doesn't feel anything besides unreal.]

...Tyr, how long have you known Ted?

[I did, thanks~! And yeah, it does help to set them apart a little, doesn't it? :D]

[ It's good Gremio broke the silence, because Tyr doesn't mind standing in silence for long periods. Tyr looks over his shoulder at the question, a melancholy expression on his face. Of course Gremio wouldn't think there's anything wrong in talking about Ted. ]

Since Dad introduced us, probably...about two years ago by when you last remember. [ Shoving around the eggs. It's scrambled eggs, not an omelette; he can beat it up a little. ] Why?

Curiosity, I suppose...[Which is true, in a way. Mostly, Gremio wants to know why Tyr is so set on his claims--and he can't deny the situation is a little strange.] It simply seems odd that he never mentioned you.

[stargathering]

Mn... [ Tyr isn't going to respond to that. Ted would mention him. Shoving those eggs around more roughly. ] What was Ted like in your memories, anyway?

[axeofoath]

[A response like that is hardly encouraging. Gremio frowns and replies with impatience.] Now, why would you ask that? If you truly are Ted's friend, I would imagine you should know just as well what he's like.

[stargathering]

[ Tyr turns back around at him at that. ] Because he's my best friend, and I want to know if forgetting me made any difference.

[axeofoath]

If that were true, he would certainly not forget you, Tyr. [He's unable to keep the continued disbelief out of his voice, though.] If you really must know, he was a fairly cheerful boy. Hardworking, as well, if a bit of a mischief-maker. [Since his memories haven't rewritten themselves as though Tyr was never there. His absence in Gremio's mind is the only difference.]

[stargathering]

[ Tyr should try not to be mad about this, but it doesn't work. He hates this curse, since it definitely is a curse. ] ...That's how I remember him, too.

[ Looking away from Gremio again. These eggs should cook faster. He's never taken food off to his room with him, but he sort of wants to. ...Or maybe he'll go to Katara's and just leave the food. Moody moody. ]

Is it, now? [Again with the impatient skepticism. With a sigh through his nose, Gremio returns to sweeping. If he even had an appetite in the first place, it would have long disappeared.]

[stargathering]

I wish I could say the same about you. [ There's a tone of bitterness in his voice as he turns up the heat. Then he remembers Aang lives with Katara now. ...He'll go to the beach. ]

[axeofoath]

Well, my apologies for not being as you expected. [Gremio, in turn, is indignant and a little moody himself. He stalks several steps away to put some distance between them while continuing to sweep.]

[stargathering]

[ Tyr notices, but that's just all the more reason he should go when this is done. ] I don't accept.

[axeofoath]

[And Gremio's somewhat glad he has his back to Tyr so the other can't see the irate look on his face, even if his shoulders stiffen tellingly.] That is hardly my concern, Tyr.

[stargathering]

Remember that when this curse is over. [ Yep, turning up the heat did it. Tyr would be more annoyed if he managed to burn the eggs, but he moved quickly enough. He moves them only a large plate for serving.

When he turns around to face Gremio again, he notices the tenseness, but screw you for today, Gremio. ] Go call Riou and the others.

[axeofoath]

[Gremio doesn't even dignify the curse comment with a response.]

Then if you would excuse me- [With that terse reply, he stalks out of the kitchen to wake them up, never once looking back at Tyr.]

[stargathering]

[ And Tyr doesn't respond either, but just leaves the plate of eggs there before going to his room. Gremio might here the door click behind him as he gets bundled up.

...He wonders for a moment if he should leave a note, especially after the last time. ...He writes a short one and leaves it on his desk. ]

[axeofoath]

[The sound does rouse his suspicions, since he has little reason to believe Tyr actually lives in the apartment. Gremio doesn't do anything yet, though, what with this kid's strange behaviour--he'll have to ask Riou about him once he's properly awake.]

[stargathering]

[ Tyr puts the picture back in the drawer he keeps it in and lalala, getting dressed. Tyr wouldn't even expect any complaints about getting changed into his own clothes in the room he's had for nearly a year.

Wrapping Katara's scarf around his neck last, he leaves his room with his staff. Click. ]

[axeofoath]

[And Gremio's watching from nearby, just a little ways down the hallway.]

...Are you leaving without saying goodbye to your friend?

[stargathering]

[ Tyr looks over his shoulder. ] Yes. He knows how to contact me if he needs to...

[axeofoath]

[Obviously unimpressed, Gremio shakes his head in exasperation and replies with strained politeness.] Very well. Take care, Tyr.


[ooc: Do you want to fast-forward to the next day to conclude the curse, or let it go on a little longer? Either's fine with me~ :D]

[stargathering]

[ Tyr isn't very impressed in Gremio's attitude, either. If he's lonely, it's his own fault, but Tyr leaves with just a mumbled "goodbye" back at Gremio. ]

[ ooc: Fast-forward to Tyr coming in the next day? Ah, might as well! Tyr might not be back that day... Or do you mean let the curse in general last more than a the weekend? ]
