[OPEN]

Who: Everyone!
What: Drinking!
When: March 3rd
Where: The Blue Light
Rating: Let's say R (I'll edit if... things happen)

Note(s): Party time!  Tag all over the place, threadjack, make new friends, forget new drinking buddies--have fun!

There are a number of bars in the City.  The Blue Light is one of the busier ones and, on the weekends, it's at its busiest.

This Saturday is no exception.  Drinking, dancing, flirting--if it's legal, it's happening (and if it's questionably legal, it's probably happening more discretely; this is one of the nicer bars the City has to offer, after all).  Whether you're a social drinker on a night out with your friends, a hardcore partier who habitually clears your Sunday schedule, or just there to drink the last of the desert away, you'll be in good company.

Olivia will claim that the only reason she's out here is to avoid the ticking, but the truth is that she's interested in all of you. Yes, you, residents of the City. She tries not to play the FBI agent all the time, but Olivia can't resist her investigating tendencies. Who are you people? What worlds do you come from? What are they like? How could you help me save my world?

These are questions that will never leave her lips. Confidentiality agreements, you see. But that won't stop her from secretly fishing facts out amidst innocent conversation. Also, Olivia hasn't been to a celebration of any sort in years, minus Walter Bishop's birthday custard, and that's not even an exaggeration.

So there, at the end of the bar, Olivia sits nursing her vodka tonic, a little distanced from the noisy crowd in the center of the bar.

Wandering around the City has been an enlightening experience for Percy so far, mainly because it doesn't seem so different from the one he grew up in. Monsters included. He runs into fewer the longer he goes without checking the network thing, but that doesn't help the moment the ticking he'd been warned about flares up. It feels like he's sitting a test he already knows he's bombed with five more minutes to go before turning it in. Except those five minutes never really end, and frankly that sort of gives him the creeps.

So he hasn't really gotten the chance to wind down since arriving in the City, and coffee and muffins for dinner don't really cut it. The Blue Light is the next open place he sees, so he walks in and orders a burger, fries and coke. He waits at the bar till they hand it to him, but sits at one of the tables away from it to eat.

If anyone asks if he's underaged, some alien turned him into a kid while he was out saving penguins from Happy Feet enthusiasts. But the lady sitting nearby doesn't seem likely to. She also seems like she's alone here, which no one should really have to be in a place with this ticking. "Want some fries? I ordered a lot."

Olivia grins against the edge of her cup, finding the current situation entirely endearing: the innocence of a young boy offering her fries, in a bar where one typically expects a drink offer from an irritating stranger hoping for something else tonight. Who wouldn't find it adorable? She can't but laugh softly, turning to Percy with a wide, honest smile.

"Aren't you a little young to be here," she teases.

Maybe another night she'd escort him out, but tonight, Olivia will let the law enforcer have a night off.

"Sure, I'd love some fries."

Percy scoots the fries over to the other side of the table so she can reach easier. "Help yourself," is all he says, figuring there's no point lying about it. It's still really weird not to have to.

At a particularly loud call for another round of drinks from the bar, Percy glances over his shoulder. "I guess people are excited about not living in a total wasteland, huh?"
