There are a number of bars in the City.  The Blue Light is one of the busier ones and, on the weekends, it's at its busiest. 

This Saturday is no exception.  Drinking, dancing, flirting--if it's legal, it's happening (and if it's questionably legal, it's probably happening more discretely; this is one of the nicer bars the City has to offer, after all).  Whether you're a social drinker on a night out with your friends, a hardcore partier who habitually clears your Sunday schedule, or just there to drink the last of the desert away, you'll be in good company.

Justin takes a drink. After a moment of thought, he takes another.

"I don't think I like either," he admits carefully. "Not in..." Fuck. He finishes off this drink altogether. "The thought of sex is disgusting."

Dean frowns a bit, processing this. Give him some credit, he didn't go 'dude, what the hell's wrong with you' right away. He's growing.

"Just...regular sex is disgusting? Not like...freaky shit or sex with demons? Just sex?"

So many apologies. He just...can't fathom and he's really not trying to be offensive.

Demons?

Justin stands up abruptly. "If I leave now, can you pretend this conversation never happened?"

[dudeimbatman]

"Uh...seriously, I didn't...what'd I say?"

He knows something he said just made Justin wildly uncomfortable but he's not sure what.

"You didn't say anything." Which is kind of a lie, but not really. Not wanting to have sex is strange and Dean was reacting as anyone would have. "I'm sorry. I've had too much to drink, I'm talking about things I wouldn't normally talk about, you're my boss..."

[dudeimbatman]

"Dude, I'm an asshole, even when I'm trying not to be one. I don't actually mean anything by it." He shakes his head at Justin's apology. "Don't worry about it and I'm not anyone's boss. I'm just the sucker who decided to try and lead shit."

After a moment of hesitation, Justin sits back down. He looks prepared to bolt.

"You didn't say anything wrong," he repeats. "I--I haven't told anyone that. It's abnormal."

[dudeimbatman]

"Nah, Dude it's...normal is sort of one of those relative words. What's normal for me, sure as hell isn't normal for anyone else."

Dean's trying to be nice. Yeah, he thinks it's weird as hell but he likes Justin and he really does mean it about the relative normal.

Justin doesn't believe that for a moment that anything about what he said is normal. Of course, he doesn't doubt that Dean's 'normal' falls under the 'abnormal' category for most people, even in the City.

If only conversations could be erased.

"It doesn't matter. We're all... strange. Strange in varying degrees."

[dudeimbatman]

"Pretty much. Everybody's a freak in some way."

He takes a long drink of his scotch, draining it and sliding it across the bar for a refill.
