There are a number of bars in the City.  The Blue Light is one of the busier ones and, on the weekends, it's at its busiest. 

This Saturday is no exception.  Drinking, dancing, flirting--if it's legal, it's happening (and if it's questionably legal, it's probably happening more discretely; this is one of the nicer bars the City has to offer, after all).  Whether you're a social drinker on a night out with your friends, a hardcore partier who habitually clears your Sunday schedule, or just there to drink the last of the desert away, you'll be in good company.

Tommy swings his bottle back and forth, dangling between his fingers.

"One time we broke into an apartment to steal Kate's gear back from the Avengers."

It's a good memory, even if it doesn't have the ending he'd have liked.

"Why did the Avengers have her gear?"

"To hassle her, mostly."

[deadly_legacy]

"Then it sounds like you were doing a noble thing to rescue her...gear." Whatever that might be.

"If you wanna look at it that way."

She's sort of right. The dive bar and the making out in the elevator parts, slightly less so.

"You don't like it when people think you noble or heroic, do you?"

[team_sociopath]

"It wasn't really about being noble and heroic, though. It was just a thing. Save the credit for when it's due." He shrugs, takes a long sip of his drink. "Feel free to fawn all over me then."

She giggles and gives her drink a stir with the little straw. "Should I write poems about your adventures?"

"Is that the kind of thing you normally do?"

[deadly_legacy]

"I don't think I ever have. Maybe in class for an assignment."

"I dunno, I guess I could handle people singing my praises. Like, literally."

[deadly_legacy]

She takes a sip to hide her smile. "I don't know if I sing well enough for that. They would be very humble praises."

"It was your idea."

[deadly_legacy]

"I suggested a poem. You don't have to sing those you know." She reaches up and messes up his hair just a little bit.

[team_sociopath]

"Nah, it's singing or bust."

[deadly_legacy]

"Shouldn't there be some flexibility? For me?" She smiles at him.

"I should go easy on you?"

[deadly_legacy]

"Well, maybe not."
