Who: Everyone!
What: Drinking!
When: March 3rd
Where: The Blue Light
Rating: Let's say R (I'll edit if... things happen)
Note(s): Party time! Tag all over the place, threadjack, make new friends, forget new drinking buddies--have fun!
There are a number of bars in the City. The Blue Light is one of the busier ones and, on the weekends, it's at its busiest.
This Saturday is no exception. Drinking, dancing, flirting--if it's legal, it's happening (and if it's questionably legal, it's probably happening more discretely; this is one of the nicer bars the City has to offer, after all). Whether you're a social drinker on a night out with your friends, a hardcore partier who habitually clears your Sunday schedule, or just there to drink the last of the desert away, you'll be in good company.

He also sees that she's finished off her drink. He quirks an eyebrow at her and decides she's big enough to make her own decision, especially given the conditions he laid down for her. "You want another one?"

She contemplates this briefly before shaking her head. "Nah. I don't want you to think I'm just a lightweight when I ask you if you'd mind if I kissed you."

And that takes him by surprise. It's not a bad thing, just a surprising one. "Because you don't want me to think it's the alcohol talking?"

Most of the world might not believe it, but Penny, when she's not focused on a pet project, is a fan of romance and not completely opposed to instigating things. "Exactly," she replies, giving Dean a smile that could almost qualify as flirty. "So do you mind if I kiss you?"

It's one of those things that makes sense about Penny when you think about it. Of course, Dean wouldn't know what romance was if it bit him on the ass. He has absolutely no experience with romance. The only woman he's ever brought flowers, was his dead mother, every year on the day she died.
He grins, chuckles a little and if it weren't Dean, well that'd be damn near a blush. "Sweetheart, the answer to that question is never going to be anything except 'You can kiss me anytime you want'".

Penny takes this as an invitation to stand ever-so-slightly (Dean is tall) and kiss him. It's not an earth-shattering kiss or mind-blowingly passionate, but it's sincere.

--before breaking away with a quiet, awed wow, flushed and a bit shaken.
"You're... wow, um," she says eloquently, hands still on Dean, "you're pretty intense."

"Wanted to make sure you got your money's worth."

Penny's starting to rethink her policy on flings.

"Trust me, Sweetheart, you meet a guy who thinks like that, you run the other friggin' way."
He has one night stands but he's not a complete jackass when it comes to women. And hey, if she wants to really reconsider it, he'll be happy to assist.

Caution wins out and Penny takes his hand. "You're a good guy. Thanks for the drinks."

"You're welcome, Sweetheart. You good to get home by yourself or are you sticking around for a while?"
no subject
"I'm good to go. It's past my bedtime, anyway."

"Sweet dreams, Darlin'."
