Log: ongoing
When; 3 p.m. August 16
Rating; Depends on what happens
Characters; Open
Summary; Tea Party at Kabuto's
Log;
Kabuto frowned down at himself for the hundredth time. For some reason his shirt was missing, all of his shirts were missing. Why it happened today, he didn't know, but he was going to try and not let it interfere.
He had spent most of the previous day, and all of that morning preparing for having guests over. He had made cakes, cookies, pies, dango, sandwiches and all sorts of snacks, as well as prepared the tea (also picked up the milk and orange juice). Once everything was ready to his liking, he had started moving the food to the balcony, having set up a table and chairs out there.
Honestly, Kabuto had no idea how many people would be showing up, this could end up being a small event. Even so, he had done what he could to make sure there was enough for those he knew would be arriving shortly, and whoever else might be showing up.
He examined his handy work one last time; satisfied with what he saw, he returned to the inside of his apartment, waiting for guests to arrive.
Edit: Put who the comment is directed at in the subject, if it doesn't have one anyone can say something or hear what is said.

"I know there are tensions, un. Of course there would be..We are all thrown together here... torn about by the grand winds of chaos. I do not know if there can be a truce..."He turned his head to the myriad of Konoha nin in the room, watching them with a lazy interest, "The world we came from weighs too heavily here, un."

{ooc: tempted to call and bother kabuto...}

As he made his way past Deidara, he ajusted his glasses to hide a smirk as he spoke. "Deidara san, it's not that cold in here."
no subject
"Are you sure you should be speaking to me about that, un..? According to Sasori-danna, you weren't too impressive in many respects.." He grinned at this, eyes squinting with expression change. "But..don't let me say anything, un. If you want to prove me wrong..."

"Now, what we could do is have you both strip... well, Kabuto, and you both could stand over there against the wall and we could all mark you on a grade from one to ten." She smirked. "That would solve everything, you know, big boys."

... And rather less crudely than she was provoking them both now. He did not restrain her this time, however; the confrontation was simmering but not yet out of control, and Kimimaro was rather curious to see the results. "We seem to have forgotten the representatives from Konoha," was all he offered.

Weapons Bitch, Tenten. White Eyed Freaks, Hyuugas. Kabuto's Bitch, Shizune.
"They can vote too."

"And showings after the party would take all the fun out of it. Deidara's already being a good sport, Kabuto. It would only be fair for you to join him. We need to have a fair vote."
no subject
"I like what she has in mind, Kabuto, un. And who knows..?" He grinned, holding up his hands, displaying the mouths upon them to Kabuto, the tongues licking his fingers, and flicking in the silver-haired shinobi's direction. "Maybe I can show you first hand the adverse ways that I use my art..."
no subject
She pointed at Deidara. "And keep those tongues in there. It's fucking nasty. That's unsanitary."
no subject
"Mm.. But, they are so useful, un. For art, and for 'homo shit' as you put it...and for other things, too." He looked at her, his smirk darkening, " I bet you wouldn't think them unsanitary if I showed you how they work, un.."
no subject
"Try me." She leered. "How do they work?"

no subject
"So you're not such a tightass after all?"
no subject
"What would you like to see? The way I make art...or the adverse ways I utilize my artistic tools..?"

Tayuya had a cocky grin on her face, never one to back down, and a little bit too stubborn for her own good.

"Give me a moment, un.. And I will show you my art." He turned, walking toward the door, opening it, and leaning upon the doorframe before moving completely through. "And I promise, girl, it will be more interesting than 'homo shit', un." With this, he disappeared into the hallway.

"Is he off his rocker, or what?"
