[With one of the few reacquired skills he's picked up, Gremio prepares a pot of tea as part of his usual morning routine. It's possible he might be able to handle a simple breakfast...though he'd be better off leaving it to his housemates--Luc or Riou. Between the three of them, surely one can cook a good meal while he cleans.

And as far as he remembers, they don't live with anyone else.]

I won't tolerate even you tarnishing my family's name to my face! Do you even remember my mother? [ No, he's not going to refer to his parents by anything but their familial titles. ]

I would do nothing of the sort! I do not know who your mother is, though I should certainly like to have a word with her. [About Tyr's behaviour. What kind of decent young man says such slanderous things and then takes offense?]

[stargathering]

...She's not here. [ Anywhere. Tyr doesn't even remember her beyond maybe an old picture or two. ]

[ He calms down, just so he doesn't need to get worked up more over this. ] --I don't want to talk about that anymore. Do you remember the war?

[Despite a sigh, Gremio doesn't pursue that topic any further. Of course--he assumes Tyr's mother is back home, not here in the City.]

The war? Of course I do, though I should think you're a little young to recall it. [The Succession War, of course.]

[stargathering]

[ Saying that, Tyr knows which one he's referring to. ]

I remember parts of it... [ He puts a finger to his own left cheek. Hinthint. ] Some things you can't just forget...

[Sorry, Tyr. Gremio doesn't get the hint, though he eases up a little bit.]

...They were hard times, to be sure. However, I'm afraid I don't see what you're getting at with this discussion.

[stargathering]

[ Dang. It wasn't very good anyway, even if the whole thing was scary to Tyr. ]

...I'm trying to make you remember. Like... do you remember how you met Riou?

[The entire incident doesn't exist in his mind. Though if Tyr were to ask, Gremio wouldn't be able to say where he obtained that scar...]

I've known him since I arrived in the City, of course. Tyr, I'm not certain what this is about, but there is nothing for me to remember.

[ He sighs. It feels rather hopeless... ]

...If I showed you proof that we know each other, would you acknowledge it?

[Tyr seems serious enough, though Gremio still thinks the entire idea is nonsense. What proof could there possibly be that he knows this stranger?]

...If such proof exists, then I would not have much choice. [The skepticism is written all over his face.]

[stargathering]

[ Tyr can tell, but he ignores it while he runs off to get a picture out of his drawer. When he returns, he holds it out to Gremio. ] Look.

[A little reluctantly, he does so. His brows furrow as he takes in the scene, a little surprised after all.]

That...does undoubtedly appear to be us. [He speaks haltingly, uncertainly, because he definitely doesn't remember it.] ...I didn't recall that Ted had any friends his age. Did he invite you for a meal?

[stargathering]

[ Tyr isn't sure what time exactly the image captured - there seemed to be multitudes of them in his memory. ...He wants that picture back, too, but he won't pull it out of Gremio's hands. ]

I probably invited him... So to you... you remember Ted living in the same house? [ With that, he wonders what would have happened to them if Tyr was never there at all... But the first thought that enters is mind is Ted would be lonely. ]

[Gremio's still looking at the picture, trying to make sense of it, because it just doesn't seem right that he could forget Ted bringing over a friend.

It's a moment before he replies. As he does so, he finally holds out the picture to return it to Tyr.] Of course I remember Ted. Master Teo is the one who brought him to live with us.

[stargathering]

[ Tyr takes it in both of his hands, but doesn't look at it again a he just holds it in front of him. ] You're right. After that war with Jowston... [ He sounds a bit distant, but looks back up at Gremio with a clearer face. ]

What's the last thing you remember happening before you came here?

The last thing? Of course, it was...[Gremio finds he has to think about it for a moment. It feels fuzzy, distant, like it was so long ago, even though he hasn't been in the City all that long.]

...Master Teo was departing to the north by order of the emperor. He left very early, so I would imagine few people outside the army were yet aware.

[stargathering]

... I see. [ So before Ted was even injured... Which might not have even happened if Tyr wasn't in Gremio's memory. ] That was a really long time ago now, but...

You know, I'm really starting to get hungry. Will you tell me what you want to have for breakfast now?

[It still doesn't make much sense to Gremio, who can't simply trust Tyr so easily. He's not really sure what to make of this whole thing, really. For now, he sighs and decides that Tyr isn't causing so much trouble that he needs to be kicked out of his own the apartment.]

If you insist on cooking...As I said earlier, you may make anything you wish, though please do not make too much of a mess.

[stargathering]

... [ Tyr nods, not liking this new Gremio very much at all. There's a bit of sadness in his voice, even if he's not sure he wants to spend too much time with Gremio when he's like this. It's too weird. ] You won't eat?

[ Tyr would sooner kick Gremio out in retaliation! >:Y ]

[He can't understand Tyr's moods like this, not when Gremio doesn't know him at all. The question gives him pause; it doesn't help that he doesn't remember dying, either...] ...Perhaps I will, though I'm not particularly hungry at the moment.

[B|!! Though with Tyr's stats, he could probably manage it, too!]

[ He doesn't even need to question why he's cold! It's winter. But Tyr is glad he doesn't remember death. ]

... I'll make something for you anyway, so tell me what you'd like.

[ He could! He's strong for a small guy like him. ]

[Indeed, even if nobody else in the apartment seems bothered by the cold...And Gremio's thinking Tyr is rather pushy about breakfast, though he sees no reason not to give in.]

Very well, then. Are eggs sufficient?

[Really! Where's he hiding all that strength?]

[stargathering]

...Yeah. Those are fine with me. [ And he goes to get them out. Gremio, stop being so distant. ]

[ Who knows! Then again, most of his power comes from his tech. stat... ]

[It's hard not to be distant when Tyr is being moody. Or so Gremio thinks.] Oh, and if you're going to be cooking, please prepare enough for Riou and Luc, too.

[Does it? I'm not actually sure what the tech stat is for.;;]

...Right. [ He doesn't really want to, but it's not like he hasn't cooked for all of them before. They did this a lot before Connell and Gremio were with them. ] You should wake them up so they can have them hot, too.

[ It's the technique stat! It just makes you stronger... :|a Like, Tyr's strength is less than Riou's, but because of his technique stat, Tyr's attacks are stronger. ]
