OPEN
When; Tonight, 24 January
Rating; PG-13 so far (for drinking?)
Characters; Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, and OPEN (if you know Dean or Sam, you're welcome! or you could just be in the bar)
Summary; Dean's having a birthday. Sam doesn't care what he thinks.
Notes; Multiple threads, thread-jumping, whatever you want! It's a party, anything goes.
Log;
After the prank he'd pulled earlier, Sam thought Dean might need a break. He also thought it might be prudent not to be home when Dean got there. So Sam staked out a favorite bar of Dean's, called some of his friends, and left a note.
Dean--
Hey, didn't feel like cooking so I went out. Meet me at [some bar, come on Dean, it's your favorite! they have tater tots], okay? I have something to tell you. Sam
There was a chance Dean wouldn't come, but it was a bar, and the house would be quiet and lonely, and Sam was pretty sure he'd come. In the meantime, he savored the thought of the day Dean must have had...

"Admit it, you've been waiting for the chance to smack my ass."

She grins, nudging his shoulder in return. "Having fun, Dean?"

He chuckles and glances around the bar before he nods. "Yeah...starting to." He looks back to Charlie. "What about you?"

She comes bearing gifts, in the form of double chocolate brownies. She knows that Dean has a sweet tooth just like she does, maybe other people will have one too. Lord knows she can't eat all of these by herself! Well, she can but that wouldn't be half as fun as sharing... supposedly.

"So," he said. "Operation Annoy Big Sibling--think it was a success?"

She sets the plate down and then turns to dig in her purse. "And I brought this. Cause everyone has to make a wish and blow out a candle on their birthday. And if Dean gives us any lip, I'll just pout. No one can resist a me pout. Trust me."
The one single candle goes in the brownie on top of the pile. Of course then she smacks a hand on her brow, wincing. "I forgot a lighter! Think this place has matches?"

"I can't believe I didn't get an ass grab from you. I'm hurt. It's my birthday and everything."

"You get a birthday cheek kiss, no more. Well, there is more cause I made birthday double chocolate brownies. I was all chef-like in the kitchen. They may not be warm with the walk over here but they're fresh and that's what makes them awesome."
She gently nudges into his side with her shoulder. "Guess who's gotta make a birthday wish??" She looks at him pointedly.

By the time he shows up at the bar, he's cranky. His ass hurts and it's his birthday so he's naturally expecting shit to get real sometime before midnight. He steps inside the bar a bit warily, glancing around.
...crap. There are people here.
Whether he wants to admit it or not (pro tip: he won't. Not ever) it's kind of nice having people at a birthday party instead of a wake/funeral/apocalypse and in spite of his crankiness, he grins a little.
"Tater tots? So help me if you tell me you want to smack my ass, I'm going to beat you."
It's all in good humor though. He appreciates it, Sam. Really.

He hands him a cold one, grinning.

Considering the day he's had, he's cautious but it's beer. He takes a long sip of it.
"Yeah sure. You're a freakin' angel. Take that however you want, Dude."
Because the angels they know are dicks.

I got you something. I'm suppose to, right?
[ And he shoves the gift out in front of him, waiting for Dean to react. ]
