Summary; Euphie and Guy plan a beach party. Everyone is asked to attend.

It was the first uncursed Saturday, and has promised Guy and Euphemia were setting up the party at the beach. They had refreshments set up and a few games prepared for the attendees. It promised to be a beautiful day for playing in the water or lounging on the sand. And the evening was sure to make a great time for relaxing and listening to music.

Open log for everyone. YES EVERYONE. Euphie and Guy meant it when they invited everybody. Threadjack, plot, play, have fun. The possibilities are endless!

If you want some drama in the water, Guy and Katara are playing lifeguard. If you want some dancing, volleyball, silly swimsuit shenanigans, GO FORTH. the sky is the limit. Romantic sunset walks or ridiculous shounen power-surfing competitions, it's all encouraged!

[ Crisis avoided for now! Tyr is fine with being distracted by this. ]

I see. [ He actually sounds maybe dorkily excited. It's Rita's fault. ] That's great. Have you two found anything yet?

[blastiafreak]

[This is very fine with Rita! No crises needed.

Looking over at him now, she had no idea he was curious about these kinds of things.] So far, we've made a few minor adjustments. Our technologies have enough similarities that we only need to figure out how to efficiently adapt to make up for their differences.

[stargathering]

[ It concerns him, which is the main reason why he's curious. ] I'm glad it works out like that... That doesn't sound so bad; that could be easy.

[blastiafreak]

[A very good reason. And Rita would be all too happy to make improvements to his blastia.] Yeah, that's right. It's not hard for me or anything; it just takes a while.

[stargathering]

[ He nods. He's completely interested in this if only because of his blastia, but Rita being happy lifts his moods, too. ] I didn't think it would be too hard for you. I'd like to see what comes of this when you have something, though.

[blastiafreak]

[And this is better than their arguments. She gives him a little smile now, too.] If I have any major developments, you'd be the first person to know.

[ The lack of arguments is nice. ] Thanks. I appreciate it

[And she's not sure why she's blushing--just because of his gratitude? Yeah, that's all it is. Definitely.]

U-uh--It's nothing.

[ Really. He thinks it's just the gratitude himself and lets some silence fall between them with her response. It's a nice day... ]

[She can't decide if she likes or hates the silence, so she abruptly breaks it.]

So--what did you come to do if you're not fishing?

[stargathering]

[ --Fine by Tyr. ]

Spend time with people mostly... Why are you here just to think?

[blastiafreak]

Oh...yeah. I guess I did, too. [Sort of, even if she's thinking alone.]</small.

[stargathering]

... I'm not bothering you, am I? [ Tyr likes being with her... ]

[blastiafreak]

Huh? No... [Even if she's a little antsy, she's glad to see him again.] I-I didn't...seem bothered, did I?

[stargathering]

[ Now he feels a little awkward. ] No-- I just wondered because you were alone before...

...I'm glad you're not bothered, though...

[blastiafreak]

[Rita's kind of relieved, though. She's at least aware--sometimes--that she can come off a little...worse than she intends. She wouldn't be happy if she was driving him away.]

It's fine. I'm not...I don't mind being with you.

[stargathering]

[ Thankfully, he hasn't gotten that impression now, though that feeling isn't foreign to him. He's just too stubborn for her. ]

I like being with you, too. [ He gives her a little smile. ]

[blastiafreak]

[An instance where she'd appreciate his stubbornness if she knew.

That makes her blush again...and suddenly, she feels warm, even in the shade. Apruptly, she starts to stand up.]

Hey--Do you want to, uh...do something? I mean, it's a party...

[stargathering]

[ He's surprised by her sudden movement, but picks himself up off the ground, too. ]

You want to dance? [ It is a party!? ]

[blastiafreak]

[She hadn't thought about dancing but now that he's suggested it, she agrees.]

Yeah--If you don't mind or anything...

[stargathering]

[ He's glad she agreed. ]

Of course I don't mind. Come on, someone set up one of those things that plays music.

[blastiafreak]

I thought I could hear something. Let's go. [She smiles, thinking it might be nice to dance for once.]

[stargathering]

[ Tyr smiles back and tries to take her hand as they leave the shade and move onto the proper beach. He's a little eager since it's been so long since he's been able to dance. ]

[blastiafreak]

[She hesitates for a second...But they're not cursed. Nothing's going to happen that they can't control. So she takes it and grins.]

You dance much?

[stargathering]

[ That's right. It's a curse-free weekend; that's why they're having this day. ]

Not recently, but I'd like to. How about you?
