tampered | (no subject)

Rose can really only hope. She tries not to let her mind linger too much on the subject as she eyes the bottle.

"Where did you find it?"

He looks confused for a moment, wondering what she means.

"Find what?" he asks.

"The bottle," she points out with her left hand. "Didn't you say it was rare?"

"Yeaaaaah. I did. Only one case left in the universe."

And guess who stole...borrowed it.

"One case?" she repeats as the information settles. Well that's a bit impressive of course he could just be having her on right? Maybe for now she won't question it.

"Amazing," she says with a grin.

"You should be amazed."

He takes a swig of the bottle and offers it to her.

"Oh I am very amazed," she reaches for the bottle and take a swig before grinning over at him.

He takes some of the food and eats it. He wonders what his clone would make of all this. Wellllll, this is Ten's way of thumbing his nose at that...individual.

"Enjoying the food?"

Rose nods slowly. "It's really good." Which is the truth. "Are you?" she asks seeing that he quite clearly is enjoying the food.

"Oh yeah."

He looks at the tray, wondering something.

"Did they bring dessert?"

Rose looks over at the tray which is more than empty now. There's no trace of dessert anywhere on there. "Don't think so. Did you order any?" she asks not really recalling.

"Don't think I did no. Probably should have ordered some tea as well."

Actually, he's not thinking about dessert or tea. He's really wondering what to do next.

"Tea would have been brilliant," she says before laying back against the pillow. She's content just to be with him.

"Think I should call them again?"

He looks for the phone again to call downstairs. He really should have thought of that.

"If you want. I mean you don't have to," Her eyes stare at the ceiling.

He thinks for a moment and decides against it. He lays back down and stares at the spot on the ceiling she is.

"What are you thinking?" he asks.

"What's gonna happen once we're out of here," she says softly. And by here she means City. Would she really be able to go with him?

He was really hoping she wouldn't ask that question. He hadn't thought much about it.

"Wellllll, we'll have to get out of here to find that out."

"I suppose so," she replies not sure really. There's just so many unknowns. What if she forgets all this? She finds herself clinging to him.

"Don't worry about it."

He tries to be reassuring, but really he's not sure either. He offers the bottle again.

"Okay," She's not about to argue and goes for the bottle again.

Hopefully that'll take her mind off of it. He really should start putting some thought into it himself. For now, he won't.

"Maybe we should get some tea or cake or something."

"Cake would be nice," she decides taking a swig of the bottle before passing it over to him. She really doesn't want to think.

He grabs the phone and makes the order, along with some tea.

"If you want, you can answer it this time."

He doesn't want a repeat of earlier.

"I will then," she assures and goes back to trying to relax.
