"What?"

Her hesitation slightly confuses him.

"See the ring?"

She looks down at the ring then back on his face.

"Yeah...But you...You...want...to...marry me?"

She almost wants to reach out and feel his forehead.

"No event?" Because she has to rule out that possibility. Only the City would give her this only to have some sort of twist to it.

"No event."

So that's what she's worried about. Well, that's an easy question to answer.

"If this was an event...well, it is but not in that sense. If this was, I'd be insisting on having your mother present."

That gets a chuckle out of her. Although if her mum could see them now.

"Suppose that's true. Then I suppose, Doctor..." She hesitates for a moment looking away before breaking into a smile.

"I'd be honored to be your wife." Not exactly how she imagined this moment to be. Then again she never thought she would do something like this.

He grins and gets up to grab her into a hug for a long moment. He breaks it indicating the waiting trio.

"Right then," he says. "Let's not keep them waiting any longer."

The hug ends far too quickly but then she nods.

"So engagement party then?"

He looks between her and the trio.

"Um, no. Remember Harry Lime down there--the Vic?"

And then it hits her. Blimey.

"Hang on you've planned all this out?"

They were getting married today?

"Yeah. Got the Vic, best man, and maid of honor."

Takes a glance towards Burke. Okay, maybe he could have gotten one of her co-workers but they're too gossipy.

"And how does Burke feel about this?"

It's a valid question as she knows that her pizza delivery person had a crush on him for the longest time. But then also his other self? Surely the best man but then that would mean...

Her eyes go wide for a moment.

"You know then? I mean he knows, then?"

And they had been trying to keep it all under wraps at least that's what she had thought.

"Not so daft the old so and so. Ah well."

He looks not to the "maid of honor."

"Burke's an emotional bawling mess. He's never been so happy."

She just smiles. "I bet you would have figured it out sooner or later."

She reaches for his hand intending to moving forward.

"Well let's get married then."

He smiles and leads her onwards. The assembled group get themselves arranged quickly. His other self takes Rose, and quickly hands her back. 10 nods at the Vic.

"You're up," he says.

The Vic nods back and begins.

As the Vic begins Rose feels herself completely over the moon. A part of this is just a bit surreal. She looks over at Burke who is a sobbing mess and moreso with every next word that the Vic says.

She leans over to whisper in the Doctor's ear.

"What about your ring?"

She doesn't have one as far as she knows.

He looks at his other self, who pats his pocket.

"I wouldn't worry about them."

"You have really thought this out."

She's just beaming and not caring that she is in her nightwear and a mess.

"'Course I did."

He almost wants to be offended but decides to let it slide as the Vic goes on with his spiel.

"Very impressive. Almost like you knew." She grins while the Vic goes on.

This time he gives her a look. The Vic is nearing the part where he asks Rose.

"Yeaaaaaah." the Doctor replies.

Rose's attention turns to the Vic.

"I do," she responds and looks over at the Doctor with a grin.

The Vic turns and asks the Doctor the same thing.

"Wouldn't be here if I didn't," he responds. "Yeah. 'Course I do."

He looks at her and returns her smile.

There's the temptation to say something smart to his first set of words but Rose just smiles.

The Vic goes on with the ceremony declaring that the Doctor may kiss the bride.

Rose can just barely believe it.

The Doctor takes Rose in his arms and kisses her passionately. Everyone around them applauds.

Rose doesn't let go returning his kiss. The applauds becomes just background noise.

After a while he finally breaks the kiss and looks around.

"Now then, what next?"
